The 92nd Annual Burning of Zozobra

Get ready for Santa Fe’s hottest party! One of New Mexico’s most enduring icons, Zozobra, aka Old Man Gloom, is the Original Burning Man! Created in 1924 by legendary artist Will Shuster and now set ablaze annually by the Santa Fe Kiwanis Club, the 92nd Burning of Zozobra taking place on the Friday before Labor Day, September 2, 2016, is a highlight of Santa Fe’s historic traditions! Gates open 3:00 pm & entertainment begins at 7:00 pm, and the Official Ceremonies begin at 7:00 pm We recommend you arrive in the venue by 8:30 pm; Showtime 9:30 pm (weather permitting; rest assured that the Burning of Zozobra is a rain-or-shine event and HE WILL BURN!) Admission $10 dollars per person, children under 10 free.
