Happy hour is the best kept secret
We stopped by on a Saturday evening about 6:30 because we were curious about the club. There were only a handful of people but our bartender was great. We wanted a little bite before going to dinner so we tried their appetizer menu at happy hour prices. Great Food and a great value. We will have come back for a show sometime. Love it!
Helpful Hints
When this DJ mixes Lady Gaga to a slow and bad 70s beat...You know he's out of touch with Gay dance music.Do you want to hear a slowed down, funeral version of Dancing Queen for 20 minutes? Then come to Mens Night and join the 6 or 7 dancers...Weee There's a new bar opening called Rouge Cat. Hopefully it be good. But for now, on Saturday, skip this Rainbow Place and go to Matador (don't order a fancy drink the owner's swamped with pouring) for strong 'buzz on' drinks and later Corazon for dancing @ 11 or so. Mix with the straights and have fun

Great Place
The cutest bartenders. Some of the best shows in town from drag to discos to jazz. incredibly friendly and mixed male/female most nights.
Sophisticated and Friendly
Best gay venue in New Mexico hands down. Lots of space, great drag shows, Trash Disco - the hottest queer dance around with the best DJ, DJ Oona, professional live music for every taste and the biggest events around like New Years, Halloween, Pride and more. Bartenders are adorable and pour a mean drink. Great community feeling for both men and women.
